“DESPITE BEING ON THE RECEIVING END” — STEPHEN ROBINSON COULDN’T HELP BUT MENTION CELTIC’S INCREDIBLE YOUNGSTER AFTER OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD PERFORMANCE

Despite finding himself on the receiving end of a difficult result against Celtic, Stephen Robinson was unable to ignore the individual brilliance that stood out during the match.

Celtic produced an impressive attacking display against Aberdeen, establishing a commanding 3–0 advantage, with Benjamin Nygren and Camilo Durán among the players who caught the eye. The result may have been frustrating for Robinson, but his post-match comments showed an appreciation for the quality Celtic produced on the night.

“He was always looking for space, always trying to move us around and he made very good decisions when he got the ball. That is a player who clearly has confidence in his ability.”

Camilo Durán also played an important role in Celtic’s attacking performance. His movement and willingness to challenge Aberdeen’s defensive line gave the hosts another major problem to solve.

The combination of Nygren and Durán created a difficult evening for Aberdeen, with Celtic repeatedly finding ways to penetrate dangerous areas.

Robinson acknowledged that Celtic’s attacking players had made his side’s task particularly challenging.

“Durán was another one who gave us problems,” he added in the interview. “When you have players who can run at you, move into different areas and still have the quality to finish moves, you are always going to be under pressure.”

For Celtic supporters, the performances of Nygren and Durán will be among the biggest positives to take from the match. Their energy, movement and confidence offered a glimpse of what Celtic could produce when their attacking players are operating at full intensity.
