According to the Rangers Review, Rangers manager Danny Rohl had targeted a move for the winger to add to his forward line this term.

Although no formal agreement has yet been reached, personal terms are reported to be nearly agreed upon after productive discussions over the last day.

This potential switch to Glasgow has reportedly been met with eagerness from Skov Olsen, who is said to be keen to play in delivering the Premiership title for Rangers.

However, the deal isn’t confirmed yet as the Gers have not reached an agreement with Wolfsburg, Skov Olsen’s current club.

The Bundesliga side are considering their options, with interest in Skov Olsen from other teams across Europe.

The Danish winger, who was considered by Rangers as a possible signing during the managerial tenures of Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Steven Gerrard, isn’t new to being on the club’s radar.

The player is currently under contract with Wolfsburg until 2029, having joined them last January.

However, Skov Olsen is now waiting on approval from the German outfit to proceed with the move to Glasgow this month.

His addition to the team would provide a considerable boost for Rohl as Rangers look to maintain momentum into the second half of the season.

The club has already added Tochi Chukwuani to the squad, while Tuur Rommens is set to join from Westerlo in a £3 million deal.

In related news, the Rangers Review revealed earlier this week that 22-year-old winger Djeidi Gassama has no plans to leave Ibrox this month.

Gassama is under the radar of several clubs across Europe – including Villarreal and Club Brugge – with interest also coming from Major League Soccer.

Despite the mounting interest, Gassama allegedly has no intention of leaving Rangers in the coming weeks and has set his sights on helping Rohl deliver the Premiership title in the coming months.
