Newcastle United announce ‘exciting’ signing as 6ft 4in striker unveiled in club statement
The Magpies have added 19-year-old striker Afner Ca to their books and the youngster can’t wait to get going

Newcastle United have signed exciting 6ft 4in striker Afner Ca from Levante after successful talks with the Spanish club.
It is believed that a five-year proposal is on the table for Ca who caught the eye of Levante after a goal-laden spell with Amora Under-19s.
Spotted by Newcastle’s recently bolstered Academy scouting network, the plan will be for Ca to link up with the United Under-21s and work with Robbie Stockdale.
Ca said: “The project here, the lifestyle, and the club’s ambition made this the right move for me.

“I’m a forward who likes to find space, link play and work hard for the team. Scoring goals is a big part of my game, but my focus is always on contributing to the group, whatever helps the team win.”
