Jack Grealish sends message to Jarrod Bowen after latest West Ham scenes

Jarrod Bowen was at the heart of everything as West Ham United kicked off their season perfectly on Saturday.
The Hammers beat Portsmouth 3-1 at the London Stadium to progress to the second round of the Carabao Cup.
After missing out on the World Cup with England, the winger has plenty to prove, albeit in the Championship now.
Similar to Jack Grealish, who is clearly taking inspiration following his latest injury setback last season.
Jarrod Bowen back on top for West Ham United
Bowen was given free rein to role around the final third against Pompey, and did it to brilliant effect.
Curling home from distance to equalise, West Ham would go on to seal the win with relative ease over new rivals.
Grealish loved what he saw from his former international teammate, who took to social media after the win.
Bowen posted a series of images on Instagram following the success, all of his celebrations after scoring.
Grealish was straight in the comments, sharing two emojis, one saying “top” and the other a flame.
Still at Manchester City, many around the Premier League are waiting to see where the flamboyant winger ends up next.
How did Jarrod Bowen perform vs Portsmouth?
As many expected, at the top of his game.
Scoring and assisting, as he usually does, it’s the other areas of his game that go somewhat under the radar.
Bowen created four big chances against Pompey, which is unbelievable, as he looks to supply Castellanos and Pablo consistently.
With only two of his 48 touches classed as unsuccessful, there aren’t many, if any at all, more effective that the England star at this level.
Those are the areas where Grealish shines too, so if Bowen can have that kind of impact successfully, there’s no stopping him.
Making four recoveries and contending in 12 ground duels, the captain is up for the fight that will be required to return to the Premier League.
Bring on Burnley and the start of the Championship season, it couldn’t come soon enough.
