Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was named Super Bowl MVP, following an incredible performance against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Eagles defeated the Chiefs 40-22, capping off a playoff run that also saw wins against the Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams and Washington Commanders. In the blowout win over the Chiefs, Hurts posted two touchdowns and 221 yards, completing 17-of-22 pass attempts. The Eagles star also recorded one touchdown and 72 yards on the ground. He led Philadelphia’s offense to 345 total yards and 21 first downs in the Super Bowl. Hurts was originally selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft out of Oklahoma. He spent one season with the Sooners (2019) after beginning his college career at Alabama, where he helped the Crimson Tide earn the 2017 national championship. During his final season at the collegiate level, Hurts posted 32 touchdowns and 3,851 yards with a 69.7 completion percentages
