This Eagles Super Bowl parade might have been lighter-hearted, more pure fun than the first one.
You are free to disagree. I don’t think analytics can prove or disprove my thesis. But to me, the 2018 parade was about history. People carried their relatives’ ashes to hold aloft as the buses passed by. It was joyous, yes, but burdened so much by the past. A momentous occasion. Even Jason Kelce’s canonical speech was at heart a list of grievances the long-sought victory had addressed.
