Chicago Sky star Angel Reese recently attended the Baltimore Ravens vs. Buffalo Bills “Sunday Night Football” game, where she was honored with a custom Ravens jersey.
Before the game, the Ravens’ social media team shared a video of Reese introducing herself to the Baltimore fans, a fitting moment for the 22-year-old, who was born in Maryland and has been vocal about her support for the team.
After the Ravens’ commanding 35-10 win over the Bills, Reese took to social media, proudly stating, “hardly home but always reppin,” and emphasized her nickname “Baltimore Barbie.”

Although Reese has been known by various nicknames throughout her basketball career such as “Bayou Barbie” during her time at LSU and “Chi-Barbie” in the WNBA she seems to prefer the one that connects her to her hometown roots.
Angel Reese, born in Randallstown, Maryland, attended Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore for high school before beginning her college basketball career at the University of Maryland with the Terrapins. After two years at Maryland, Reese transferred to LSU, where she played from 2022 to 2024.
Her stellar performance at LSU led to her being drafted by the Chicago Sky in 2024. Despite her various stops along the way, Reese remains deeply connected to her Maryland roots, proudly embracing her hometown as “Baltimore Barbie.”

She made an immediate impact, averaging 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game, quickly becoming known as one of the best rebounders in the league. Reese’s outstanding performance earned her a WNBA All-Star selection in her first season, solidifying her place as a rising star in the league.
